Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using EsteemWay, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, have legal authority to enter these Terms, and agree to comply with applicable laws including the Information Technology Act 2000 (India), Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), and GDPR where applicable.
2. Description of Service
EsteemWay is a B2B productivity platform that connects to Gmail and Outlook accounts to triage, categorize and action emails. Features include AI email categorization, day planning, dependency tracking, meeting management and team collaboration.
3. Account Registration
You must sign in using a Google or Microsoft account. You are responsible for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information.
4. Permitted and Prohibited Use
Permitted: lawful business productivity use only.
Prohibited: spam, unauthorized access, reverse engineering, illegal activity, malicious code, data scraping, impersonation.
5. Gmail and Outlook Integration
EsteemWay's use of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You authorize EsteemWay to:
- Read email content for categorization
- Send emails on your behalf only when you click Send
- Read calendar events
- Create calendar events when you use meeting scheduling
You may revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. Data and Privacy
Governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We implement encryption at rest and in transit, RLS on all database tables, and OAuth token encryption. Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days — contact privacy@esteemway.com.
7. Intellectual Property
Service content is owned by EsteemWay. You retain rights to content you create.
8. AI Features
EsteemWay uses Google Gemini for email categorization and suggestions. AI may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before acting on it. We do not use email content to train AI models.
9. Payment and Subscription
Fees are charged in advance. You may cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods except where required by law. We provide 30 days notice for price changes.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided as-is. EsteemWay is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at the amount paid in the prior 12 months or INR 10,000, whichever is greater.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Please attempt informal resolution first at legal@esteemway.com.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 7 days advance notice by email or via on-site notice.
